Kennesaw State University – International Website Initiative – WordPress Migration Project

Digital Project Manager accountable for the full life cycle implementation of the Kennesaw State University (KSU) International Website Initiative (IWI) project. This project resulted in multiple nonprofit site migrations from HTML to WordPress Content Management Systems, in order to allow nonprofit organizations assess and control of website content and assets.

– Conducted a strategy roadmap session with each nonprofit organization to delineate processes and understand requirements related to each site migration and site updates.
– Prioritized implementation and deployment installing WordPress site, designing theme, setup configuration, editorial workflow, content, galleries, videos, and assets.
– Completed User Acceptance Testing, reported findings, and produced updates.
– Provided Content Management System (CMS) training to stakeholders including asset management, configuration, and content management. (Completed May 2014)

Project Summary: Kennesaw State University International Website Initiative (KSU – IWI) – Project manager for the strategic planning, implementation and deployment of consumer global website. Led the agile application lifecycle, development management and client delivery, resulting in completion of WordPress CMS site and access to assets and content creation.

Established career development Internship (January 2013 – December 2014) with ITT Technical Institute, Full Sail University, and colleges. Utilized interns to complete site development and keep nonprofit migration costs minimized. 5 month implementation timeline.
